MOTE: How long was the idea of Veil Maker in the works before the band members, and ultimately the EP, came to fruition?
Cecil: Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit was hovering over the waters. Let me explain this passage to you. The deep represents how deep I am, while the surface represents the linear nature of time, which culminates in the release of our huge, epic EP. BAM! So pretty much a long time.

That's a solid interview.
Just to name a few:
Do you have trouble writing for all three bands? Seems like a mission that could run the creative well dry.
Cecil: Who do you think you are talking to, Jeff Archibald? Show some respect.

Also: hhwhat?! Cecil: I pretty much agree with that, except I would put more emphasis on the forest rather than the stomach, and further project my popular image of caring, waif-like vegan.
